When I read Garland’s register I went very quiet…three of his brothers were also killed in action, all three were airmen.

Poor mother & father & family : 4 sons lost.

This is also the only cemetery I visited where you can find 2 VC’s next to each other : Garland & Gray (see picture at the bottom).

There are 3 VC holders buried in this location.
