This place is better know as the John McCrae site. The author of the world famous poem : In Flanders Fields.
Next to the graveyard are indeed the bunkers were McCrea has been stationed. Note that McCrea’s grave is not here !
But I don’t think that most people visiting this site realise that there is also a VC holder grave.
Needless to say that in this context it is worthwhile visiting this cemetery if you have limited time.
