This place is indeed THE place to be. Please note that the car parking is situated in the Vijfwegestraat.

In the Westhoek : this is the graveyard with most individual VC graves : 3. There are also 3 VC holders mentioned on the panels.

On a panel a VC holder can be identified by the “V.C.” in front of his name.

Note that the register of the panels is not located at the entrance but  in the left tower of the memorial.

Panel 70 is located second from the right of the entrance to the first courtyard of the memorial that you encounter when you start walking from the left tower, see below picture.
